I Am Not Able To Find The .htaccess File

Approx. read time : 1 min

If you cannot find the .htaccess file, the following issues might be responsible for it:

  1. The .htacess file is not created or uploaded in your website’s ‘public_html’ directory. You will have to create it and upload it.
  2. Your FTP client might be configured in a way that it does not show the hidden (dot) files. In this case you have to configure your FTP client for displaying these files.
