It’s extremely important to take regular backups of your website; here are the steps for backing up and restoring your database in OpenCart:
Backing Up A File:
- Go to System.
- Click on ‘Backup/Restore’.
- Check the boxes besides every item that you would like to Save and click on ‘Backup’.
- Choose the ‘Save File’ option and click on OK.
Restoring A Backup File:
- Click on ‘Browse’.
- Select your backup file and click on ‘Open’.
- Click on ‘Restore’.
