ionCube is a tool introduced to protect softwares written in PHP programming language so that it can’t be viewed, changed, and run on unlicensed computers.
You can install it the same way as eAccerator with few commands and clicks.
Login to your server via SSH & execute below command:
# /scripts/phpextensionmgr install IonCubeLoader
Now that you have installed it on the server, you will have to enable it from WHM as well. Login to WHM as root & access option Server Configuration » Tweak Settings >> PHP. Select ionCube from “cPanel PHP loader” & click Save.
