The DNS zone editor allows you to manage your DNS records. Choose TXT as the record type when adding a new record:
NOTE: The provider should handle DNS Zone management, you pointed the domain to, if it points elsewhere by NS records
What Values to Use?
Name (Host)
Add @ as the host when adding TXT records for your domain. Insert the subdomain’s name as a host for subdomains. The host for the subdomain shop.domain.tld should be bought.
TXT Value
Your domain’s value should be entered here. A TXT file is usually used for adding SPF records or verification records, such as when adding your domain to Google. If this is the case, your email provider or search engine will provide you with the exact record value.
TTL
If specific TTL (Time-To-Live) values haven’t been provided, it’s safe to use the default setting of 14400 seconds (4 hours). After making changes to your TXT records, please allow up to 24 hours for full DNS propagation across the network.
How to Edit or Delete TXT Records?
To manage your domain’s TXT records, follow these steps through your DNS Zone Editor:
- Edit a Record: Locate the TXT record you want to update, then select the edit option to modify its value or TTL settings.
- Permanently Delete a Record: Identify the TXT record you wish to remove and choose the delete option to erase it completely.
