This article guides you on how you can use Plesk to configure your site to support Microsoft Silverlight files.<\/p>\n

# Steps to configure Silverlight<\/h2>\n

1. Log in to Plesk.<\/p>\n

2. Click on Websites & Domains<\/strong> at the left sidebar of Plesk panel.<\/p>\n

\"Silverlight\"<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Identify and locate your domain and then click on Virtual Directories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Virtual<\/a><\/p>\n

4. The Virtual Directory<\/strong> page will appear. On it, click the MIME Types<\/strong> tab.
\n\"MIME\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. Click on Add MIME Type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"MIME<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Now the Edit MIME Type<\/strong> will appear :<\/p>\n

\"MIME<\/a><\/p>\n

7. In the text box for Extension<\/strong>, type .xaml<\/strong><\/p>\n

8. In the list box for Content<\/strong>, select application\/xaml+xml<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

9. Click on OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

10. Under the MIME Types<\/strong>, browse the extension list and confirm that the .xaml extension<\/strong> is configured. Additionally, verify that all the following extensions are also confirmed:<\/p>\n

.xap –<\/strong> application\/x-Silverlight-app<\/p>\n

.xbap –<\/strong> application\/x-ms-xbap<\/p>\n
