On your keyboard click on the <strong>Windows<\/strong> logo while holding the <strong>R<\/strong> key at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>The run box will get displayed.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type <strong>cmd<\/strong> in the run box and then hit the <strong>&#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong> key.<\/p>\n<p>3. The command prompt will pop up. Enter the below command in it:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">C:\\Users\\username&gt; ipconfig \/flushdns<\/pre>\n<p>The command runs and returns to the prompt.<\/p>\n<p>4. Next, type exit and hit the <strong>\u2018Enter\u2019<\/strong> key to close the window.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #e0ffff; padding: 10px;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> After that you might see a pop-up box with a message that Windows &#8220;&#8230;cannot end the program as it may still be running&#8230;&#8221; \u2013 ignore it as it&#8217;s completely safe (and required) to click the End Now button to exit.<\/div>\n<h3>Windows 7<\/h3>\n<p>1. Click on the <strong>Windows<\/strong> logo on your desktop, and then type <strong>&#8216;cmd&#8217;<\/strong> in the search bar (where it says <strong>&#8216;search for programs and files&#8217;<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>2. The command prompt will pop up. Enter the below command in it:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">C:\\Users\\username&gt; ipconfig \/flushdns<\/pre>\n<p>3. Hit the <strong>&#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong> key, and then repeat the process twice.<\/p>\n<p>4. Type exit, and then hit the<strong> &#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong> key to close the window.<\/p>\n<h3>Windows Vista<\/h3>\n<p>1. Click on the <strong>Windows<\/strong> logo on your desktop.<\/p>\n<p>2. In the menu, select<strong> \u2018All Programs\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Click on <strong>Accessories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>4. Right click on<strong> \u2018Command Prompt\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>5. Choose the option <strong>\u2018Run As Administrator\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>6. A window pops up in which type the following, and then press <strong>&#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">C:\\Users\\username&gt; ipconfig \/flushdns<\/pre>\n<p>7. Hit the <strong>&#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong> key and repeat the process twice.<\/p>\n<p>8. Type exit, and then hit the <strong>&#8216;Enter&#8217;<\/strong> key to close the window.<\/p>\n<p>In case you want to verify what domains and IPs your computer cached currently, you may use the command <strong>ipconfig \/displaydns<\/strong> in the steps described above.<\/p>\n<h3>Windows XP<\/h3>\n<p>1. Click the <strong>Windows<\/strong> logo on your desktop and then click on <strong>Run<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2. Type in <strong>cmd<\/strong> and click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>3.
