Steps to Configure Contact Form with PHP Mail<\/h3>\n

1. Login to cPanel.
\n2. Scroll down to Software<\/strong> and click on SitePad Website Builder<\/strong>.
\n3. Click on the Admin Panel<\/strong> icon of the site on which you want to configure the contact form.<\/p>\n

\n4. From the left-side menu of the admin panel, go to Settings<\/strong>\u00a0and click on Contact Form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n5. The Contact Form Settings<\/strong> will get displayed. In this,<\/p>\n

  • TO Email:<\/strong> It is the email on which you will receive your contact form email.<\/li>\n
  • FROM Email:<\/strong> It is the email through which your contact form email will be sent.<\/li>\n
  • SUBJECT:<\/strong> It is the subject of the contact form.<\/li>\n
  • Additional Headers:<\/strong> Here you can add additional email.<\/li>\n
  • Messages:<\/strong> Here you can edit messages used for the information of your form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    6. After filling in the fields as per your preference, click on Save Changes<\/strong> to save the changes done.<\/p>\n

    Steps to Configure Contact Form with SMTP Mail<\/h3>\n

    1. Click on Advanced<\/strong> -> SMTP Mail<\/strong> from the left-side menu of the admin panel.<\/p>\n

    \n2.The SMTP Mail Settings<\/strong> will get displayed:<\/p>\n

    3.Tick on the Enable SMTP<\/strong> checkbox to configure contact form with SMTP mail.
    \n4. In the SMTP Host<\/strong>, enter your mail server.
    \n5. Select the Type of Encryption<\/strong> from None<\/strong>, SSL<\/strong> and TLS<\/strong>.
    \n6. Enter the SMTP Port<\/strong> number.
    \n7. Click on Yes<\/strong> for SMTP Authentication<\/strong>.
    \n8. Enter the SMTP Username<\/strong> and Password<\/strong> to login to your mail server.
    \n9. Keep the \u2018Disable SSL Certificate Verification\u2019<\/strong> option unchecked as it is important to verify SSL certificate for security reasons.
    \n10. Finally, click on Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Configure Contact Form with SMTP\/PHP Mail (Old Dashboard)<\/h2>\n

    Steps to Configure Contact Form with PHP Mail<\/h3>\n

    Your localhost is used by PHP Mail function to send email from contact form while SMTP Mail function used a server to send email from your contact form. The contact form settings can be configured from SitePad Dashboard > Settings > Contact Form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    PHP Mail<\/h3>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

    1. You will find that PHP Mail<\/strong> is selected by default.<\/p>\n

    2. The same email-id needs to be added in To<\/strong> and From<\/strong> fields. So, enter multiple email address separated with comma, if you want to send emails to multiple recipients.<\/p>\n

    3. In Subject<\/strong> field enter the subject you want. You can add enter the for-mat here, if you need Dynamic Subject<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    4. You are allowed to change the Success\/Fail Message<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    5. In order to avoid spam from your contact form you can add reCAPTCHA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    6. Next, click on Save<\/strong> button after filling the Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/strong> In case your host restricts you from sending mail using local server then you will need to Configure SMTP Mail<\/strong>.<\/div>\n

    Steps to Configure Contact Form with SMTP Mail<\/h3>\n

    1. For configuring SMTP mail you will need a Gmail\/Yahoo\/Hotmail<\/strong> account. Alternately, you can use your Webmail account<\/strong> with all the SMTP settings given by your host in your control panel.<\/p>\n

    2. In Mailing Method<\/strong>, from the drop-down list select the SMTP Mail.<\/p>\n

    3. Fill the below fields:<\/p>\n

    SMTP Server<\/strong> (if you are using secure server port then please add ssl:\/\/ before the server domain i.e ssl:\/\/domain.com).
    \nSMTP Port<\/strong>
    \nSMTP Username<\/strong> (i.e Email Id)
    \nSMTP Password<\/strong> (i.e Email Id Password)<\/p>\n

    4. Configure the settings for SMTP similar to that for PHP Mail i.e change Subject, change Success\/Fail Message, Add reCAPTCHA to avoid spam.<\/p>\n

    5. Then click on Save<\/strong> button after filling the settings.<\/p>\n
