Now when a mail is sent to that mailing list, it goes to Moderator for approval. Until then it isn\u2019t viewable to any of the recipients.<\/p>\n<p>The Moderator then approves it and adds the sender\u2019s mail id in the sender filter. Now the sender can directly send the emails to the recipients. But every time if an email is sent by the third-party, it\u2019s not possible for the Moderator to always approve it.<\/p>\n<h3>Steps to Follow for Allowing the Non-Member Postings by the Recipients:<\/h3>\n<p>Emails sent by members under the default Mailman settings aren\u2019t moderated, but the non-member emails are by default moderated. For allowing the non-members to post freely, this setting can be change as below:<\/p>\n<p>1. In the <strong>Mailman<\/strong> settings go to the <strong>Privacy Options -&gt; Sender Filters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/sender-filters-min.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5538\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/sender-filters-min.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"259\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/sender-filters-min.png 533w, https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/sender-filters-min-300x146.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Next go to <strong>&#8220;Action to take for postings from non-members for which no explicit action is defined&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/actions-to-take-min.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7174\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/actions-to-take-min-1024x274.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. By default it is selected as <strong>Hold<\/strong>.
