You can register your own nameservers if you own a VPS<\/a><\/strong> or a dedicated server<\/a><\/strong> (ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com).<\/p>\n

\"nameservers,<\/p>\n

Your first step is to get IP addresses<\/strong> where you can point your domain nameservers.<\/p>\n

The IP addresses will be specified in your welcome email, if not you can contact our support team anytime.<\/p>\n

Once you have the IPs, you can register the nameservers with your domain registrar<\/p>\n

If your domain is registered with MilesWeb, follow the steps mentioned here<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

If your domain name is registered with some other company, please contact them for nameserver assistance.<\/em><\/p>\n

When the nameservers are registered, you will have to set them on the server. Follow the steps mentioned below for that:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login to WHM and >> \u2018DNS functions<\/strong>\u2019 section >> Edit DNS zone menu<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. From the drop down list, select the domain name you would like to set the nameservers for and click on \u2018Edit\u2019<\/li>\n
  3. Update the \u2018SOA record<\/strong>\u2019 stating your primary nameserver and the email address<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you want the private nameservers to be automatically applied for all the new cPanel accounts and you also need to set them for all the addons before adding them to cPanel:<\/p>\n

    Go to \u2018Basic cPanel and WHM setup<\/strong>\u2019 in WHM >> and add your personal nameservers<\/p>\n
