Here&#8217;s what you need to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Validity refers to how long the certificate is valid for creating secure connections between your web server and your site visitors&#8217; browsers. Maximum validation goes upto 13 months.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subscribers pay for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/ssl-certificates.php\">SSL certificates<\/a> for a specific period. This occurs when the billing cycle for a product expires, and it needs to be renewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To find these dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to your MilesWeb&#8217;s client area.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to My Services, click My Domains.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will get the list of active domains. Choose your ones and click on Manage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will get details like SSL Status, SSL Start Date, SSL Issuer, and SSL Expiry Date.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a difference between the subscription period and the validity period. SSL certificates will expire based on their validity period, even if you pay for a longer subscription.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re wondering what to do when it&#8217;s time to renew, here&#8217;s what you can expect for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With a MilesWeb subscription, we&#8217;ll automatically revalidate and install your certificates every year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The certificate will be reissued free of charge every year. However, verify the domain ownership to complete the reissuance and reinstallation of SSL.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are using a non-MilesWeb hosting provider, you will need to reissue your certificate every year manually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> We offer core SSL certificates if a hosting plan is purchased from MilesWeb. It includes seamless installation and its technical management on your behalf. This way you focus on other tasks while we look after your domain&#8217;s security.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SSL Certificate Renewal Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your SSL certificate will be reissued 30 days before it expires, right at the end of its current validity period, giving you enough time to install the new certificate.
