The two-factor authentication helps to enhance the security of your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this article, we will get to know how you can enable or disable Two-factor authentication in MilesWeb Client Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps for Enabling Two-Factor Authentication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, there are two things you need to use the two-factor authentication with your MilesWeb hosting account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must install an authenticator app on your tablet or smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Android and Apple iOS devices, we recommended you to install the <strong>Google Authenticator App<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now to enable the two-factor authentication for your hosting account in the MilesWeb client portal. Follow the steps given below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First step is, login to <strong>MilesWeb Client Area<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/login-to-the-client-area.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/login-to-the-client-area.png\" alt=\"login to the client area\" class=\"wp-image-17069\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Then, on the right side, click on menu bar. After clicking on Enable, you will be asked to choose the Two-factor authentication method. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, Get the security code from <strong>Google Authenticator App.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: <strong><em>Open the Google Authenticator App on your mobile device. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Now, Click on <strong>Get Started to proceed further.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/enable-two-factor-authentication-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.in\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/enable-two-factor-authentication-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17087\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click on <strong>Submit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you will receive a message displayed as, \u201cTwo-Factor Authentication is now enabled\u201d. You should have this code, if in case you lose your mobile device.
