One of the ways to do that is to limit access to certain people. With Webuzo File Manager, users can change the file permissions so those authorized can view or edit these files.<\/p>\n<h2>To Change Permissions using File Manager<\/h2>\n<p>1. Log in to your Webuzo <em>user<\/em> account.<\/p>\n<p>2. Go to the <strong>Server Utilities<\/strong> section and click on <strong>File Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14521\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/hosting-faqs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/webuzo_file_manager.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"977\" height=\"248\"><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>File Manager<\/strong> interface will open in the new browser tab.<\/p>\n<p>3. Browse and locate the file whose permissions you want to change and <em>right-click<\/em>&nbsp;on it.<\/p>\n<p>A menu will appear.<\/p>\n<p>4. Assign\/change the file <em>permissions(Read\/Write\/Execute)<\/em> for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Owner<\/strong>: Main handler of the user account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group<\/strong>: Users with access to subdomains but not the hosting account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Others<\/strong>: Users who have no access to user account or subdomains.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6.
