The DirectAdmin panel has various authentication methods that add to the protection of a user account. You can set up or add security questions to guard your DirectAdmin account more effectively.<\/p>\n

To Set Security Questions<\/h2>\n

1. Log in to your DirectAdmin account.<\/p>\n

2. Go to the Advanced Features<\/strong> section and click on Security Questions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. Click on Add new Security Question<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A pop-up window will appear. Here, you can either\u00a0choose from a pre-existing list of questions are create a custom security question.<\/p>\n

To Choose from the Existing List of Questions<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Select the Included<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Select a\u00a0Question<\/strong> from the dropdown list.<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your response to the question in the Answer<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
  4. Click on\u00a0ADD<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    DirectAdmin will display a success message and add the question-answer combination to the list of Security Questions.<\/p>\n

    If you don’t find an appropriate security question in the system’s list, you can create a custom question.<\/p>\n

    To Create a Custom Security Question<\/h3>\n

    Click on Add new Security Question<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    A pop-up window will appear.<\/p>\n

    1. Select the Custom<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
    2. Enter a new security question in the Question<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n
    3. Enter the response\u00a0to the security question in the Answer\u00a0<\/strong>field.<\/li>\n
    4. Click on ADD<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      A success message will flash and, the custom question will appear in the list of security questions.<\/p>\n

      Next, you will have to turn on the feature.<\/p>\n

      So, click on Enable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      With it, the DirectAdmin panel will ask a random security question from the list whenever you would want to log in.<\/p>\n

      You will have to enter the accurate response to the security question and click the Submit Answer<\/strong> button to log in to your account.<\/p>\n
