Softaculous allows you to upgrade the applications which you have already installed using Softaculous. Before performing the upgrade procedure, we strictly recommend to take backup of the application because sometimes the upgrade fails for various reasons. There is a backup tool in Softaculous, use it to take the backup of your application and then perform the upgrade. If the upgrade fails, you can easily restore the backup and upgrade the application by following the manual upgrade guidelines.<\/p>\n

Follow the below steps to upgrade the application\/software:<\/p>\n

  1. Login to cPanel<\/strong> -> go to Software\/Services<\/strong> -> click on Softaculous<\/strong> icon<\/li>\n
  2. Go to top right corner menu and click on “All Installations<\/strong>” option which looks like a wooden box<\/li>\n
  3. On the new page you will see the list of applications which you had installed earlier. Two blue arrows are used in Softaculous to highlight the new version of the applications. You will see the blue arrows if the Softaculous has the latest version of the application, hover the mouse on the arrows to know the version details and click on it to upgrade the application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:- If you are performing the upgrade process, you will be completely responsible for it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
