Login to the admin account of your Elgg installation.<\/p>\n
When you login as an administrator, you get access to various tools provided by Elgg. You can add additional functionality to your Elgg account through plugins.<\/p>\n
Elgg comprises of many tools that are pre-installed. It is important to take into consideration that these tools are not enabled for a new Elgg installation. You can select the tools that you want to enable for your website from the ones that are available. You can easily enable all the default tools. For doing this, you need to go to the \u2018Tool administration\u2019 section and click on the \u2018Enable All\u2019 option.<\/p>\n
You can choose to enable only some features as well. Scroll down to the page and click \u2018Enable\u2019 only for the tools that you want to use for your website.<\/p>\n
For instance, if you want to enable your website members to invite their friends to the community, you can enable the \u2018invitefriends\u2019 tool.<\/p>\n
