Back-to-back events! Omg, yet we made it there with absolute zeal. And, here\u2019s sharing an experience from a recent one.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cCultural Capital of India,\u201d Kolkata recently got shaken up with WordPress people. Yes, \u201cWordCamp Kolkata\u201d was held on the 17th &amp; 18th of December 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best of all, MilesWeb being the \u201cTitanium\u201d sponsor at this biggest WordPress community event. Made a lot of great stories there, learned new things and met passionate people.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everything happened to be very remarkable and so, without pulling it too long, we\u2019ll share highlights of the same in this blog.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep reading!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Made it to WordCamp Kolkata 2022!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We started off for Kolkata and were all set to rock at the WordCamp Kolkata. The early morning flights, mesmerizing views, winter colds, ohh a journey to remember forever.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reached the venue, in the vibrant city of Kolkata @ Hotel Altair on 17th December 2022. The destination was really worth it. There was a fun and welcoming atmosphere.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, and we were super-happy to see so many WordPress fanatics, business professionals, attendees, fellow sponsors, and attendees around. It&#8217;s a day-long event dedicated to giving back to WordPress. Community members gather together to contribute to the open-source project, regardless of their experience and skills. Yes, Contributors day is for everyone!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond just contributing to WordPress, this day lets you make new friends within the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Day 2\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting our morning with new energy and all prepped for the big and last day of the WordCamp Kolkata. Well, not putting down the entire agenda here.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But to tell you, this was the most insightful day. There were sessions from experienced speakers and WordPress experts, panel discussions and so much more. Also, we got a chance to participate in different group activities. In short we learned, along with having fun!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To mention a few, there were sessions from speakers on different topics like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Work, Life and WordPress<\/li><li>Improving Core Web Vitals for WordPress Websites<\/li><li>WordPress Firewalls-The Most Important Protection For Your Website<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our beloved founder, <strong>Chinmay Sir<\/strong>, spoke on <strong><em>\u201cHow to Improve WordPress Performance.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> We were glad to see him speaking on the big stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/how-to-improve-wordpress-performance.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/how-to-improve-wordpress-performance.jpg\" alt=\"How to Improve WordPress Performance\" class=\"wp-image-15220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/how-to-improve-wordpress-performance.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.milesweb.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/how-to-improve-wordpress-performance-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now comes the best of all!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Booth at WordCamp<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJust amazing\u201d is what we can say about the booth experience. The response was more than what we expected. There has literally been a buzz at our booth ever since we arrived. Apart from just WordPressers everywhere, we met many potentials as well as some existing clients as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It really feels motivational and rewarding to hear people\u2019s positive feedback about what we do. Also, we introduced our new WordPress hosting on cloud partners like AWS, Digital Ocean, Linode &amp; Vultr.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also arranged a contest, wherein the attendees actively participated. We even distributed superb Swags, which everyone loved a lot.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ending the Day! At last, momentos were given to those who participated in the panel discussion.
